Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Ab Initio ETL Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level data pipelines and transformation processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data architecture, and ETL development

 

Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA) – Hybrid (4 days in-office)

 

Status: Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement ETL processes using Ab Initio to transform data in a Data Warehouse
  • Develop data transformation activities including normalization, cleansing, aggregation, summarization, and integration
  • Create and maintain large-scale data pipelines from multiple sources, ensuring reliable data capture and storage
  • Collaborate with QA teams to write test cases and achieve high defect detection rates
  • Apply data lineage solutions across platforms and ensure compliance with data governance standards
  • Participate in performance tuning, job optimization, and migration of Ab Initio jobs
  • Support production environments and troubleshoot ETL issues.

Qualifications:

  • Very strong SQL & overall good understaindg of DWH
  • AB Initio experience
  • Unix and shell scripting experience
  • Experienced in develop and maintain data pipelines from data extraction to analytic data marts

Preferred Skills:

  • Autosys exposure
  • Sybase and Redshift experience
  • Good understanding of AWS platform
