We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Architect to lead and execute complex data platform transformations within our Azure ecosystem. This role demands deep technical expertise and hands-on experience with modern Azure data services, particularly in designing and migrating enterprise-scale solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement scalable data solutions using:
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Azure Databricks
• Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Synapse Pipelines
• Design and execute end-to-end migration plans from Synapse to Databricks
• Convert legacy stored procedures into optimized Spark SQL notebooks
• Migrate and modernize ETL pipelines, orchestrating them via Databricks Workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance optimization
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and stakeholders

Qualificiations:

• Proven hands-on experience with Azure Synapse, Databricks, and ADF
• Strong proficiency in Spark SQL and notebook-based development
• Demonstrated success in migrating data platforms and ETL pipelines
• Deep understanding of data architecture, performance tuning, and workflow orchestration
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate) a nice to have
