As an Azure Architect you will function on the front lines of our value-added approach to delivering quality information technology solutions. Location: San Francisco, California  

Status: Full-Time

Salary Range: $130,000 to $150,000 USD

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to analyze, understand, and document current state and requirements, identifying gaps and opportunities for optimization
• Effectively define future state solution architecture and models using design tools, ensuring requirement specs, architecture, and designs garner applicable approvals
• Evaluate and meet solution security and availability requirements with architectural designs
• Delineate governance processes to facilitate effective adoption and maintenance of solutions
• Establish best practices to ensure solutions are developed, implemented, and maintained with the most consistent approach
• Manage platform issues effectively as they occur during the solution life cycle, investigating and resolving complex platform challenges effectively

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Solid lead experience working on various cloud migration projects
• Solid knowledge of Data Warehouse, Data Vault, or Lakehouse architectures
• Demonstrated knowledge of ETL processes and CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect with hands-on experience in
• SQL Server, SQL Development and SQL Database
• Azure Storage, Data Zoning, Synapse DW/Spark, Databricks
• Polybase,  Big Data Concepts
• Power BI Services, platform and Paginated Reporting
• Automation (Azure Pipelines/Azure Data Factory)
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., waterfall, agile) and their application in various projects
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving project requirements
• Demonstrates strong critical thinking, and an analytical mindset
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders
• Continuous learning mindset, staying updated with industry trends and best practices

Nice to Have:

• Additional Microsoft Azure Certifications
• Knowledge and/or experience with Azure Migrate
